Plumbing Inspection

A routine plumbing inspection includes a check of anywhere that water goes in your house. This inspection includes pipes, lines, sinks, tubs, toilets and water heaters as well as lines that run in, underneath and outside of your home. During an inspection, a plumber checks pipes and hydrants for leaks and looks to see that exposed lines are insulated against freezing (yes, even in South Carolina). They will check the toilets for proper operations and typically drain and check your water heater. In many cases, a technician will find a small problem or leak and be able to fix it before it becomes a major problem and a big expense. Prevention is the best protection against plumbing problems.

If you believe you might have a leak, time is of the essence. It’s important to call Williamson’s Rooter & Plumbing right away for a plumbing inspection. When inspecting potential leaks, video camera inspection might be necessary. It’s also possible that to find the source of an underground leak, some digging might be required as well. Once your plumber finds the problem, they can recommend appropriate repairs.
